Seoul International Aerospace & Defence Exhibition 2013

The last Seoul International Aerospace & Defence Exhibition was successfully held with best ever results 314 exhibitors from 31 countries and about 100 thousands of trade visitors. The next exhibition will be held again from October 29 ~ November 3 in 2013, and the Korean government is now forming a national support policy to promote the exhibition as the re-presentative aerospace and defense exhibition of the Asia-Pacific region.

Korea’s aerospace and defence industries have been continuously growing with international cooperation. Specifically, January 2010, the Korean government announced its ‘Aerospace Industry Primary Plan’, which aims to elevate Korea to one of the G-7 in the aerospace industry, with selected major development programs including the International Joint Development Program for Regional Aircraft, the Next Generation Fighter Program, the KAH (Korea Attack Helicopter) Program, and the MRO Program.

To carry out these programs, the Korean government intends to actively look for a way to build cooperation systems with foreign entities.
Therefore, to provide more business opportunities with exhibitors, the Co-organizing Office will positively promote foreign companies related to the Aerospace Industry Primary Plan and also invite important decision makers of the aerospace and defence industry as VIPs based on the exhibitor’s preference. We will create the 2013 exhibition as the most convenient meeting point that makes a win-win situation both for exhibitors and visitors.

This will be accomplished by holding not only conferences, seminars and official programs, but also many ancillary events to provide various communication channels and opportunities to build networking throughout the exhibition period.

Promising to create a more specialized and professional exhibition through accumulated knowhow and database that has been earned from the record-breaking history of our previous exhibitions, I sincerely hope to see you at 2013’s exhibition.
